1. Do you offer Medicare rebates for speech therapy?
Yes! If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to five allied health sessions per calendar year, including speech-language pathology. Medicare allows up to five allied health sessions per calendar year. If more sessions are needed, additional funding or private payments may be required.
2. Do you provide services to NDIS funded children?
Yes! I can provide therapy for children with self-managed NDIS plans. Please contact me to discuss your child’s needs and funding options.
3. Can I use my private health insurance?
Yes! Some private health funds cover speech therapy under extras cover. You can claim the private rebate, depending on your policy.
4. My child is older than 7 years old, can you see them?
Yes! Although I specialise in early intervention, I have past experience with children of all ages. Please get in touch to discuss your child's needs.
5. Do you see adult patients?
Yes! I have experience working with patients across the lifespan. Please get in touch to discuss your needs.
6. What language do you speak?
I 'm fluent in English, French and (Brazilian) Portuguese.
I also have an intermediate level of spoken Spanish and can understand and speak a little bit of Russian.
